Oh, don't worry, I'm not disappointed. I expected that exactly from the get-go. They're no stranger to adults around then thinking it's too hard to, over the course of a month or two, find out at least one thing they're interested in or enjoy.

Ain't so easy, after all. Heck, it's probably their fault for not making it easy for you. That enigmatic Frisk. So hard to realize they have interests outside of their use to you, right? They're better off just making their own treats for themself.

Nah. The difficulty is finding something that I can't just make myself or pull out of a closet. I made them a flute for Hanukkah, maybe I can figure out something related to music.

Funny how you didn't seem to be saying that at any point over the past several weeks. But go on, keep telling yourself you're the selfless infallible guardian. I'll gladly be the little whisper in the back of your head that nobody has to know exists.

Never told myself that. Anyway, I'll think of something. I guess I figured it had to be something big, something awesome, but since I can't think of anything good for that, I'll just have to settle for a smaller scale. I can always do it again later.

Say whatever you want. I don't care about for approval or endorsement any more than I care about any other human's. As far as I've seen, you are still no different from them.

I gave you a chance. More than I should have done. It was a wasted effort. You proved to be all talk and no action. Unwilling to actually come through for Frisk once it stopped being convenient.

It takes the nagging of me, the bad one, before you do anything. Wanting to make Frisk happy or offer penance had nothing to do with it, or you would have made an attempt instead of offering me these excuses.

Your actions, or lack thereof, have been perfectly clear.
