"Okay, I just need to grab some stuff and we can get going." Mick was going to crash at Leonard's for a long weekend and honestly, he was relieved. He loved those days when it was just him, Leonard and Lisa, it was always something he looked forward too. Trouble was, he didn't have any of his stuff ready and that meant he had to go home and pack. Fast. He didn't love taking Leonard to his crappy little place but he kind of had to, he was mostly trying to ignore how obviously awful it looked and hold his head up high. Whatever. It wasn't really his anyway.

Mick unlocked the door and held it open for Leonard, shutting it behind him before he paused, realising he should seriously have given Leonard more of a heads up about this place. "Stay close to me. If you see anyone move, run for it. Just... just go outside and wait for me."

It might sound like an over-reaction but it was honestly the best advise he could give about this place. Hopefully no one was in but it was hard to tell.
