"Oh no, that's not good, is it?"
Yes, stating the obvious, Barry knew that wasn't helpful right now but he didn't know what else to do. Clearly he'd tripped an alarm or accidentally hit a switch. Outside was the sound of police sirens, the museum was making a loud noise and flashing it's security alarm and there he was, standing in front of a kid he kinda maybe recognised, unsure why exactly he was in here but he was pretty sure of two things. One, he definitely hadn't broken in for the same reason Barry did and two, he was very, very pissed off right now.
He didn't look too happy and honestly, Barry would feel much worse but what kind of person broke into a museum this late? ... Okay, besides from him but he had a good reason to be breaking in so he didn't really think he could be blamed for this. Right?
Oh man, he hoped so. How was he supposed to know someone else was breaking in? This was supposed to be a quiet little side mission, not a total mess. Was there any point in hiding? Probably not. Maybe he could run. He backed up in preparation to make a break for it and turned around to run, slamming right into a display on medieval mining he hadn't seen earlier and proceeded to knock several mini figurines over as he did it, winding himself in the process and dropping his back pack.
Urgh, this was so not his night.

"Does it look badass enough?"
Cisco held up the car he'd made from scratch and honest to God, Barry had no idea how a child that young could make something that advanced. It was remote controlled and everything. And pink. Very, very pink. That's what happens when Lisa is told she can decorate. On the side, in glitter pen, was the title 'DEATH CAR' and it really didn't have the right kind of feel he wanted. "It looks pretty badass."
Barry shrugged his shoulders and looked at Leonard. "I mean I can see Leonard cruising around in that."

"I'm pretty sure it's a small rodent. Maybe a mouse or a -- hmm. Huh. It does look rat like too. I'm going to vote rat." Barry looked at the bear/dog/mouse/rat/whatever it was that he was holding in his hands and frowned, turning it over. Lisa was sitting in his lap and Axel was sitting next to him and apparently the debate of whatever the hell this stuff toy is was still raging.
"It's not a rat, it's a bear and you're dumb." Axel snatched the toy back with a huff, cuddling his strange undefinable creature close. Barry was about as helpful here as Leonard had been. He was going to ask Mick, maybe Mick would take his side. "I thought you were bringing food."
"I thought you were going to give me back my science club card." Barry shot back and then took a deep breath, refusing to fight with a six year old. He was better than this. Barry sighed and tilted his head back, trying to get Leonard's attention. "I forgot to pick up food on the way here so do we still have a take out menu or something?"

Axel, you have to stop showing up in front of my school.
"Fuck." Mick growled as he rolled over onto his front and buried his head into the pillow, ignoring the chatter outside their door and Lisa knocking it playfully to get their attention before running off. Stupid little tiny bastards running around this early, making noise and waking them up, stupid Leonard actually waking up, stupid mornings and moving and all that bullshit. He hated it all. He knew from experience that as soon as Lisa was awake, usually Leonard was awake and that meant it was only a matter of time before he had to wake up too.
He supposed the one good thing was that whenever he was here, he was pretty much guaranteed breakfast. That did something to soothe the pain of having to get up at seven am like some kind of lunatic.
"And you want me to have one of those." Mick grumbled, rolling back over and opening one eye to give Leonard a look. Leonard really wanted to condemn him to a life of early mornings humouring tiny children and making them food. Fuck that and fuck everything that entailed.
